Electronic Engineer BESAT/CLOSED

- reporting to the Team Leader of the Test Center in Denmark

To the Dinex Group, we are currently looking for an Electronic Engineer.

You will join a department of dedicated engineers in charge of exhaust design, FEA, CFD and testing of the developed solutions. Because much of the work is based on customer projects some traveling to customers' testing facilities must be expected. 

You will be part of the R&D department wtih daily work in the Danish Test Center. The Test Center includes engine dyno, heavy-duty chassis dyno and hot shake test facilities. Your tasks will include things as test and validation of algorithms for control of emission control technologies for combustion engines. In Dinex's product portfolio electronic hardware is included, your job is to be part of the Test Center Team as the electronic and calibration expert. The Test Center Team is part of the R&D department that is developing and validating complete after treatment systems meet the ever-increasing requirements for limiting exhaust emissions.

The position is a reoccupation and will have base in DK-5500 Middelfart.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • CAN-bus communication by the J1939 protocol using software´s as CANape, INCA etc.
  • OBD-code verification and homologation work.
  • Calibration work with focus on the CANape or INCA part.
  • Matlab data processing for calibration work.
  • General electronic programming and faultfinding support in the Test Centers.
  • Collaborate with external component suppliers.
  • Engine dyno testing.
  • Relevant internal training and knowledge sharing.
  • Ad hoc tasks.

THE CANDIDATE 

  • Can be a qualified engineer with electrical engineering as a discipline, and has knowledge and experience from programming in graphical programming languages ​​ or similar from the automotive industry.
  • Preferably you have automotive/engine setup experience, could be from formula student or similar.
  • Has good electronic skills.
  • Has good programming skills.
  • Is able to interface with component suppliers, preferable on negotiation levels.
  • Is willing to do hands on work when needed.
  • Has test experience, could be on electronic and software level or from engine lab etc.
  • Has preferable R&D work experience.

OTHERS 

Languages:
Since there will be communication with external partners it is a requirement that you speak and write English.

IT Skills:
Experienced user of the MS Office Pack (especially in Excel) and in general IT flair.

Travel days:
Must be able/willing to travel approx. 20 - 30 days per year.

Within max 1 hour away from DK-5500 Middelfart.
