Senior Designer Outwear for ONLY Women´s wear CLOSED

For ONLY´s team in Beijing, China, we are currently looking for a Senior Designer to develop their Outwear/blazer and woven top/shirt collections.

As a Senior Designer, you need to have flair for design, fabrics and details. On your own initiative you convert creative ideas into action and thereby contribute to creating a consistent style in�their collections.

Assignments and responsibilities

• Responsible for continuous success/high growth of ONLY in China
• Responsible of driving collections to high design level/effective sales sampling of ONLY’s main/express collections
• In charge to develop trends boards/wash Library/Detail and Fabric/Trim direction
• Responsible for commercial -/efficient work process, analyzing sales figures, and understand the commercial ONLY market and possibilities in China
• Constantly upgrade wash-/fabric quality, fitting, finish, details and product to market demands
• Constantly source latest Trimmings/Fabrics/Treatments/Labels by Suppliers
• Implement fast moving latest ONLY Trend drops, to ensure latest trend on time
• Close co-operation/visits to existing suppliers in China, as well as training of Buying teams and Retail
• Incl. presentation, sales- material and visual merchandising guidelines in stores for the Chinese market, in co-operation with Design manager/Display/Merchandizing teams
• Upgrade Fashion shows/ensure strong outfits/styling for ONLY Sales meeting and catalogues/e-commerce
• Conduct sales review/fitting review with Buyers/-Designers to improve product/look/fabric/fitting etc. in weak areas
• Responsible for Monthly Store visit report focus on ONLY�
• Train and show direction to Junior Team members�and Designers
• Close daily cooperation with ONLY China’s Design manager in Beijing
• Cooperate with 30+ international and local designers, 40+ buyers and technicians in Beijing
• Frequent inspiration trips in Asia�

• You have a Bachelor degree in�design or�similar
• You have at least 6 years of relevant work experience�with design
• Prefererably your previous work experience is from a women´s wear brand
• You have good Englilsh skills, both spoken and written
• Your style�needs to be very trendy, fashionable, cool and�also be a bit sporty
• You are willing to live and work in Beijing, China
• You are interested in working with other cultures
