Hands on HR Manager Nordic

TIP Trailer Services (hereafter TIP) is one of Europe´s leading equipment services providers. TIP specialize in leasing and rental of trailers, tankers and other equipment. Their lease and rentals can be combined with a range of smart services including maintenance, damage repair, fleet management and telematics, providing their customers with even more value.

For TIP we are currently looking for a skilled, experienced, proactive and "hands on minded" HR Manager for the Nordic HR team.

Reporting to the Nordic Human Resource Director, this position plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the whole Nordic region. 

We are looking for a team player that can handle a multitude of responsibilites, support cross-functional teams and assist with special projects.

Job tasks:

• On-/offboarding of employees
• Assisting Managers in recruitment processes
• Assisting Managers in yearly appraisal/salary planning
• Monthly payroll preparation
• Assists in ensuring that the workplace practices are consistent with company policies, procedures and values
• Answering/assisting employees on HR questions/issues
• Reports/analyzes etc. for HQ in Amsterdam
• Various other ad hoc jobs 

Qualifications required:

• Educational background can be various (personality and relevant experience is more important)
• At least 5 years of broad HR experience
• Ability to work in a dynamic and matrix work environment
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and a desire to take responsibility
• Fluency in English and Danish (it will be an advantage if you know/talk the Nordic languages too)
• Good IT skills - mainly with MS Office (knowledge of Workday will be a plus)
• Willingness to travel up to approx. 5-10 days per year

At present the job is without people in direct reference. This means, that you must be willing to make many of the tasks yourself. Therefore a broad HR experience is preferable.
